Chapter 3: The Impact of Facial Expressions

Facial expressions can also play a crucial role in conflict resolution. During disagreements, tensions can run high, and misinterpretations of expressions can exacerbate the situation. Research indicates that adopting certain facial expressions can affect one's mood—a concept known as the "facial feedback hypothesis."
